ONWUGHALU THEODORA NWAMAKA is a professional with a high sense of adaptability. She is an innovative and resourceful person with excellent problem solving ability. Her strength lies in ability to work effectively as a team leader in spheres of corporate endeavour. She believed the concept of goal setting and actualization of encouraging subtle competition amongst team members.

Onwughalu began her professional career in 1985 as a Corp member with Industrial Training Fund, Jos. Upon her completion of National Youth Service, she joins Olympic Packers Limited, Onitsha as an Admin Manager from 1986 to 1987.

She later moved over to D & C International Limited London, England where she was responsible for negotiation of raw materials and commodities from different factories in Europe, USA, South America and Eastern Countries. Shortly after, she proceeded to the University of Kent, Canterbury where she worked as a Library Assistant.

In August 1st, 1987 she joined African Express Bank Plc (formerly Orient Bank) as Officer, Banking Operation and grew through the ranks to become the AGM/Head, Lagos Central Office from January 1998 to February, 2000.

In December 2000 she joined Reliance Bank Limited as Group Head, Treasury and Financial Institutions and also grew through the ranks to become the Ag. Managing Director/CEO in April, 2005. A position she held for 8 months before exiting the bank.

Onwughalu left Reliance Bank Limited for Skye Bank Plc as General Manager in January, 2006 and later become an Executive Director South East/Edo Delta and Lagos Markets in 2008 to 2010. She was redeployed to Executive Director, Treasury, International Funding, Multilateral and Embassy NGOs South East/Edo Delta and Lagos Markets from 2010 to 2014.

She was Group Managing Director Mainstreet Bank Limited between December, 2014 to June, 2015. Presently, she is the Deputy Managing Director, Corporate Banking, Project and Structured Finance, Treasury and Financial Institutions, International Funding Group and International Subsidiaries from April, 2014 to date.

Onwughalu has presented a few number of papers on: Strategies of Investment Houses, Staff Orientation Programme (Treasury & Money Market Products) – Reliance Bank, Operations of Domiciliary Account – Reliance Bank and Customer Relationship – Afex Bank (formerly Orient Bank).

Onwughalu also served in different capacities as either member or chairman of committees at different times from Afex Bank (formerly Orient Bank), Reliance Bank, Mainstreet Bank and Skye Bank Plc respectively.

She attended quite a handful of courses and training both in Nigeria and Overseas. She also received awards from Rotary Club, Enugu, The Institute of Internal Auditors of Nigeria, National Merit Award for Accountability & Transparency, Award of Excellence and Distinction in Financial Management and Paul Harris Fellow.

Onwughalu is a Honorary Senior Member of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Member Nigeria Institute of Management, Member Institute of Directors, Senior Fellow Institute of Internal Auditors of Nigeria, Fellow/Council Member Institute of Credit Administration and Member Ikoyi Club.

Onwughalu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Buckingham, England in 1983, an MBA in Marketing from the University of Port Harcourt in 2000 and MSC in Corporate Governance from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2009.

Onwughalu is an Alumnus of Buckingham University. She loves reading, playing squash, collecting of arts and travelling. She is happily married.


OLANIHUN OLUFEMI CHARLES is a resourceful professional. He began his professional career with Robert Ade-Odiachi & Co (Chartered Accountants) as Audit Trainee/Audit Senior from October, 1996 to September, 1998. He later moved to Equity Bank of Nigeria Limited (formerly Intercontinental Bank Plc) as Relationship/Operating Officer from October 1998 to June 2000. In June 2000 he joined FSB International Bank Plc (now Fidelity Bank Plc) as Relationship Officer and left in July, 2002. As a high flyer, he again joined NBM Bank Limited (now Sterling Bank) as Head, Business Development/Branch Manager in August 2002 to October, 2005. In November, 2005 Mr. Olanihun left NBM Bank Limited (now Sterling Bank) for Skye Bank Plc as Business Development Manager a place he grew through the ranks to become the Head, International Subsidiaries from April, 2013 to date.

Olanihun attended a good number of courses and trainings ranging from risk management, leadership, relationship management, fraud and control awareness to financial analysis, selling skills, negotiation skills, credit analysis and industrial analysis, marketing orientation, equipment leasing, commercial lending, etc.

Olanihun is an Associate Member (ACA) The Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Honorary Senior Member, The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and Certificate of Completion, Senior Management Program (SMP-48) Lagos Business School.

He holds a Bachelor of Agriculture (Hons.)in Animal Science from the University of Benin, Nigeria.

Olanihun loves reading, music and travelling. He is happily married with children.


ARIBALOYE OLUFEMI TUNDE is a disciplined and focused professional with glowing references from all the organizations he had worked in. He is a professional who have the capacity to give direction and support to the realization of corporate objectives. He began his professional career with Chartered Bank Plc in November, 1990 as a Relationship Officer and worked round a couple branches and units from 1990 and 2000 before exiting the bank.

He later joined Prudent Bank Plc in February, 2000 as Business Development Manager Designate. He later became the Business Development Manger and was the pioneer branch manager of Toyin Street Branch of Prudent Bank Plc. He moved to the Loan Recovery Taskforce and later became the Head, Risk Management and left the bank in December 31,2005.

In January, 2006 he joined Skye Bank Plc as Head, Risk Management Group. He also served as member of various management committees in the bank including Management Risk Committee, Assets & Liabilities Committee, Disciplinary Committee, Management Credit Committee, etc. He rose to the rank of Group Head, Enterprise Risk Management Group. Aribaloye is currently a General Manager. Mr. Aribaloye is a Team Manager, Skye Bank Plc Football Team and a passionate sport lover.

He won the Best Staff in Corporate Banking Group in 1993 while with Chartered Bank Limited and also won the Best Customer Service Staff in Corporate Banking Group in 1996 with Chartered Bank Ltd.

Aribaloye holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with the University of Ilorin and an MBA (Finance) with University of Liverpool, UK.

He is an alumnus of Pan African University (Lagos Business School) and has attended the Senior Management Programme (SMP) at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France, amongst various international and local training programmes.

Aribaloye loves travelling, football, meeting people and keeping pets. He is happily married with children.


ABIRU KAYODE KAZEEM is a professional banker with penchant in branch banking operations. He began his professional career in August 1983 with Federal Department of Agriculture as a Higher Technical Officer and exited in 1985.

Abiru joined Allied Bank of Nigeria Limited in January,1986 as Supervisor and shortly after left for Eko International Bank (EIB) in January, 1986 as Deputy Manager. He grew through the ranks to become the Head, Retail Banking Group in December, 2005.

Abiru later moved to Skye Bank Plc in January 2006 as the Regional Director and also served as the Head, Retail & Consumer Banking. He became a Regional Director, Lagos Mainland 1 Region where he was promoted to the grade of Deputy General Manager. He was later deployed in October, 2009 to head the recovery unit of Office Departments Customers and Margin Loans. From there, he moved to head the Business Optimization Division. Mr. Abiru also worked in the Integration Team of Mainstreet Bank Limited before returning to head business optimization division of the bank from December, 2014 to date.

Abiru attended several courses and trainings on Senior Management Programme (Lagos Business School), Professional Selling & Marketing of Financial Services, Total Quality Management, business connectivity, Computer operations and applications, understanding the Oil, Gas and Construction Industries, Credit Risk Management, Advance Credit Appraisal and Follow Up, MICR System Workshop for Clearing Banks, Service Improvement on Customer Relations, etc.

He had publications on Power Usage on Agricultural Farms in River State in 1982 (being a HND Project) and Money Market Instruments – Nature, Application and Effects on Stock of Money in Nigeria being an M.Sc Thesis in 1984.

Abiru holds a Higher National Diploma from Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt and an M.Sc degree from the University of Ibadan.

Mr. Abiru is a sport enthusiast. He loves swimming and cycling. He is happily married with children.


Adegoke is an alumnus of the School of African Microfinance-Mombasa, Kenya from where he specialized in Strategic Planning (Using Microfin Tool) and Financial Analysis for Microfinance Institutions (Seep Tool). He is a thorough banker with in-depth knowledge and experience in Financial Management, Performance Management, Audit Practices, Financial Reporting and Management Accounting and different areas of Management Practices. Before the formal introduction of Microfinance Banking in Nigeria, he has worked as a Management Consultant to different organizations including banks. At the introduction of Microfinance Policy by the Central Bank of Nigeria in 2005, he worked as a Consultant in the conversion of a number of Community Banks to Microfinance Banks especially in the Eastern parts of the Country. Thereafter, he joined Amaifeke Microfinance Bank Limited as the Head of Internal Control and Audit Department from where he moved to Mainstreet Bank Microfinance Bank Limited in 2009 as the pioneer Head of Internal Control and Audit. He rose to the post of an Assistant General Manager-AGM and Chief Finance Officer of the Bank.

He has authored many books on different aspects of microfinance and financial empowerment. He is a regular facilitator on MFI Strategic Planning, Financial Analysis, Risk Management and Transformation Management.

Adegoke is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria-ICAN. He is a Certified Microfinance Banker (MCIB) of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria-CIBN. Adegoke is also a Full Member of the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria. He holds HND (Upper Credit) in Accountancy from the Federal Polytechnic, Ede and MBA in Financial Management from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbmosho. He is a member of the Nigeria Institute of Management Consultants and a member of the International Professional Managers Association, UK with Certification of Professional Diploma in Organizational Transformation. Adegoke is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria-CITN. He is currently running a LLB Program in Law at the National Open University of Nigeria-NOUN and is at 500 Level.

In addition to his attendance of many local and international microfinance trainings, Adegoke has undertaken study tours of successful microfinance institutions in West and East Africa. Among these are Equity Bank of Kenya, Jamibora Trust, Faoula Microfinance Bank, Nairobi, Kenya and Ghana Microfinance Institute.
