ADEGBAMI ADEGOKE ELIJAH (MD/CEO)
Adegoke is an alumnus of the School of African Microfinance-Mombasa, Kenya from where he specialized in Strategic Planning (Using Microfin Tool) and Financial Analysis for Microfinance Institutions (Seep Tool). He is a thorough banker with in-depth knowledge and experience in Financial Management, Performance Management, Audit Practices, Financial Reporting and Management Accounting and different areas of Management Practices. Before the formal introduction of Microfinance Banking in Nigeria, he has worked as a Management Consultant to different organizations including banks. At the introduction of Microfinance Policy by the Central Bank of Nigeria in 2005, he worked as a Consultant in the conversion of a number of Community Banks to Microfinance Banks especially in the Eastern parts of the Country. Thereafter, he joined Amaifeke Microfinance Bank Limited as the Head of Internal Control and Audit Department from where he moved to Mainstreet Bank Microfinance Bank Limited in 2009 as the pioneer Head of Internal Control and Audit. He rose to the post of an Assistant General Manager-AGM and Chief Finance Officer of the Bank.
He has authored many books on different aspects of microfinance and financial empowerment. He is a regular facilitator on MFI Strategic Planning, Financial Analysis, Risk Management and Transformation Management.
Adegoke is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria-ICAN. He is a Certified Microfinance Banker (MCIB) of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria-CIBN. Adegoke is also a Full Member of the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria. He holds HND (Upper Credit) in Accountancy from the Federal Polytechnic, Ede and MBA in Financial Management from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbmosho. He is a member of the Nigeria Institute of Management Consultants and a member of the International Professional Managers Association, UK with Certification of Professional Diploma in Organizational Transformation. Adegoke is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria-CITN. He is currently running a LLB Program in Law at the National Open University of Nigeria-NOUN and is at 500 Level.
In addition to his attendance of many local and international microfinance trainings, Adegoke has undertaken study tours of successful microfinance institutions in West and East Africa. Among these are Equity Bank of Kenya, Jamibora Trust, Faoula Microfinance Bank, Nairobi, Kenya and Ghana Microfinance Institute.
IDRIS DAMILARE MARTIN ACA, ACS, MCIB (CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER)
A Certified Microfinance Banker (MCIB) of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria-CIBN, Associate of The Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN) and Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS). He is an authorized securities trader of The Nigerian Stock Exchange with over 8 years professional experience in Accounting, Financial control, Portfolio management, Securities trading and Risk management spanning the hospitality, investment banking and microfinance industry. He has worked as an Account Executive in Whispering Palms Resort and Resano Securities Ltd (A Member of The Nigerian Stock Exchange) between 2006 and 2010, Securities trader, Portfolio manager and Acting Financial Controller at Securities Solutions Ltd before joining Mainstreet Bank Microfinance Bank Ltd in 2012, working in different capacities ranging from Internal Control, Branch management and currently the Chief Financial Officer. Martin holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration and Management from Yaba College of Technology, Lagos and an M. B Taiwo ICAN Foundation Prize Winner in Economics (May 2006). He has attended several trainings and seminars.
ADIELEH-OKOKO PRISCILLA MCIB, ACIPM (CHIEF RISK OFFICER)
Priscilla is a Certified Microfinance Banker (MCIB) of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria-CIBN, an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management in Nigeria (CIPM) and an alumnus of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State where she bagged a Bachelor’s degree Honors in Accounting.
She joined Mainstreet Bank MFB as the 1st National Youth Corp member in July 2009 where she served in different capacities within the bank such as Operations, Credit Risk Management and Financial Control Department. Due to her exceptional performance she got retained by the bank as a Finance officer in the Financial Control Department till 2013 where she served as Head Human Capital and Administration. In February 2016, she was redeployed to Head Credit Risk Management.
A talented young professional and a goal getter who has decided to broaden her knowledge in Accounting at Oxford Brookes University, England. She is a student member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in England (ACCA) and Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) where she is about to conclude her MBA programme. She has attended several trainings and seminars.
Priscilla loves travelling, swimming and shopping. She’s happily married with children.
SULE HELEN OJOCHOGWU MCIB (HEAD CORPORATE BANKING)
She is an alumnus of Boulders Institute of Microfinance, Turin, Italy; a Certified Microfinance Banker (MCIB) of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and an Associate Member of the Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria (CPIN).
She holds a bachelor of Agriculture (B. Agric) and M.Sc degree in Agricultural Economics and Extension from the Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi, Benue State and Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto in 2001 and 2006 respectively. She started her career briefly in 2003 with Nigeria Agricultural Cooperative & Rural Development Bank and then Sigma Vaughn Sterling Pensions Ltd in 2005 as the zonal coordinator for North central where she functioned in pension funds management, Operations, marketing and customer service. .
She moved to Mainstreet Bank Microfinance Bank in 2009 and has served in different capacities as Branch Manager, Head, Risk Management, Head Business Development and currently the Head, Corporate Banking Unit.
She got Management commendations in the following categories: Negotiation and Contribution to NUT Asset Acquisition Scheme 2011, Most Enterprising Management Staff 2012, N1 Billion Naira 100% Loan Performance 2013 and Most Valuable Officer of the Bank 2013.
She loves reading, travelling and adventure. She is happily married with Children.
IWUOHA ANTHONY (MCIB)(REGIONAL MANAGER, MAINLAND)
Mr. Iwuoha Anthony is a trained financial inclusion specialist. A certified microfinance banker. He has over seven years has on the job experience in microfinance practice. He has undergone several courses in development finance, marketing and accounting. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accountancy from Imo State University, Owerri with a second class upper division (2.1) at graduation; he has also completed his course work for the award of Masters of Science (MSC) degree in financial management technology from Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO).
He is a member of chartered institute of bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) and a student member of institute of chartered accountants of Nigeria. He has several awards from different bodies including Nuel Ojei foundation scholarship award as a student with a cumulative grade point aggregate of over four points, National Youth Service Corps merit award for exemplary performance and the Mainstreet Bank MFB, Ltd best branch manager of the year 2013.
He has over eleven years consummate experience ranging from, accounting and finance, Marketing and credit, Business Development, Financial Advisory, Consultancy and auditing. He is currently the Regional Manager, Mainland Region of Mainstreet Bank Limited (A Subsidiary of Skye Bank Plc). He is happily married.
OLISA JOHNSON O MCIB (REGIONAL MANAGER, LAGOS ISLAND)
He started his banking career over a decade ago and has worked in several banks and in various capacities, the last of which was First Inland Bank PLC (now FINBANK), Mbaise Road, Owerri as Head, Credit & Marketing. His Microfinance Banking experience to-date spans about two years. With unusual but varied experiences from Head Office and Branch Banking as well as broad-based courses/seminars in Credit Administration and Management, Marketing, Business Development, Relationship Management and Banking Operations, Mr. Olisa is certainly an asset to Mainstreet Bank Microfinance BankLtd.
His key competences are in the areas of Risk Analysis and Mitigation, Credit Development, Administration and Management, Marketing, Structuring of need-provoked products and Relationship Management. He maintains high-level/key contacts in both public and private sectors of the economy. He holds an MBA with specialty in Marketing from Imo State University, Owerri.
IZEVBIZUA LUCKY OMORUYI (MCIB ) (REMEDIAL AND RECOVERY)
He is a Certified Microfinance Banker (MCIB) who holds a Bachelors degree in Economics. He also has a certification from Chartered Institute of Accounting on Non Financial Manager 2011. He is a current student member of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria. He has been the Regional Manager since October 2011 and his job description oversees Lagos mainland branches in terms of performances and supervision. He has attended series of trainings.
KOMOLAFE GABRIEL AYODELE – (MCIB)(HEAD, LOAN MONITORING)
A Certified Microfinance Banker (MCIB) of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria-CIBN, He joined the bank in 2009, prior to his appointment as head of loan monitoring and recovery, he has worked in internal control department of the bank. Ayodele has Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting from Federal Polytechnic Bida, a associate member of Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) and an MBA(finance) from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso.
He is a student member of Institute of Charter Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN).
BARUWA FADILAT, (MCIB) (HEAD, HCM/ADMIN)
She is a Certified Microfinance Banker (MCIB) of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria-CIBN. An alumnus of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State where she bagged a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. She joined Mainstreet Bank MFB as in July 2009 where she served in different capacities within the bank such as internal control, operations and Information Technology Department.
She is presently responsible for the Administration and Human Capital Management of the Bank. A talented and versatile professional who decided to broaden her knowledge in networking, Microsoft office Applications, Application development & supports, web development and database management by attending Aptech Computer Education Maryland Center and later proceeded to MICH consulting for comprehensive training in Systems Audit and Security. She has attended several other trainings and seminars. She is also a student member of Chartered institute of Personnel Management.
